A Boy and A Girl
There once was a boy that moved from afar
There was was a girl who never went far
They met on a beach one bright sunny day
They never imagined what may come their way
For one full year they laughed and they talked
Watching movies and eating ice cream alot
Until finally one day their lips seem to lock
Their hearts a flutter a fluttering flock
He told her their friendship was meant to be
He told her he'd love her for infinity
The days and weeks seem to go by so fast
Spending time with that boy was sure a blast
They'd go for long walks and cruise in his car
They's sometimes go dancing at the local bar
One day on a mountain he professed his love
Asking "Will you marry me? You were sent from above."
The girl laughed, then cried, then shouted her reply
"Yes!" she said as the rain clouds rolled by
One year later they married in a garden
Her in a white dress and him in his tartan
They flew to the tropics and honeymooned there
Made love in the sand where the moon sat and stared
Right soon after they bought their first house
A little small, but cute as a mouse
Not even a month later
They got some great news
She was pregnant, a few weeks, maybe two
The months flew by as her belly grew
It was a miracle inside her they both knew
One January eve a boy blessed this place
And the boy and the girl gazed at his face
Who would've imagined here's where they'd end up
With a whole lot of love filling their cup
I guess God reached down and planted His seed
And gave us a path we knew we should lead
I love that boy with all of my heart
It was infinity right from the start
I love you, Dana-Bear. As every day passes, I realize more and more how truly blessed I am to have you in my life.
